Hi All,

While our A/C is not located on roof (ours is on the side wall of our unit) when camping in FL during summer months we experience condensation buildup on the vent to the point where water is spit along with cold air, but mostly at night when we turn it down.

Is this typical and would a dehumidifier help us?

We full-time and ran into humidity problems in Portland during the winter. I looked at options and ended up buying a 30 pint dehumidifier. On average we empty the tank once a day. This keeps us around 40% humidity inside the trailer.

Pretty much our experience when full timing. We also did and still use a 30 pint. Still empty it once a day on every trip. Keeps everything dry, drys towels, and allows you to wake up not feeling muggy.

Most dehumidifiers are adjustable. I keep ours at 45%

We had same problem in both bathrooms. Closing the vent next to the duct took care of the problem.
