Converter Wiring disconnect

I have a inverter installed with 50amp transfer switch. What I am wondering is how do I do disconcert the converter so when the inventer is running I can isolate the converter and not charge the batteries? Trailer is a 2015 355 Eagle.

When I want to turn-off my CONVERTER I just flip the 120VAC Circuit breaker for it... it stays connected to the 12VDC grid but if turned off it doesn't bother anything...

Doing what Roy said is fine. I can not remember, but there was something also connected to that 110VAC breaker, that I wanted to also run off the inverter so I purchased another 15Amp breaker and installed it in a spare slot. I then disconnected the 110VAC supply lead to the converter and put it on its own breaker.

Yup, I just turn off the converter breaker. I made labels to put on the inverter and by the inside remote inverter switch so that I remember to turn off the breaker. I usually just leave it off once we are using the trailer, even on shore power the solar handles the 12v recharge.

Hymanykd: If your refrigerator is also on the inverter circuit, I would make sure the refrigerator is running on propane. You don’t want to run it using your batteries. Of course, some members have an abundance of battery power so they use a residential frig.

I went thru the breakers and mine seems to be wired directly into the main box. There is none labeled converter. I know on my 30.5 eagle there was a breaker for the converter that I turned off when I was boondocking. That trailer was 30amp and thus one is 50amp. My question is the converter and the breaker box separate? If so I guess I can reroute the convertor to its own breaker. Thoughts?
