crack in trailer

2011 Jayco 31.5RLTS. Returning home from Texas this spring, stopped overnite and found a crack in the side of the trailer. Crack is about 6 inches long and comes out of the lower left corner of bedroom slide towards front of the trailer. Haven't said anything til now. Been talking to dealer and factory, and I will be taking to factory on friday for repair. The powers to be seem to think that a side brace either wasn't properly welded or has come loose. Fac tory says no big deal, will cut out bad part, re-weld or re-brace as necessary and will be like new when done. We will see. So a heads up for all of you with a trailer like mine. Might want to look em over for cracks. Will post results at the end of next week when the repairs are supposed to be finished. Factory says will not be able to see where repairs are made when they finish. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hopefully everything goes well with the repair. I would recommend documenting everything VERY well, just in case. Make sure to take some good photos too.
