If the adhesive has left the back, you are mostly SOL. If there's still adhesive, tho not likely or it wouldn't have lifted, you can apply some gentle heat with a hairdryer on high and try to roll the film back to flat with a j roller or a wallpaper seam roller. Be very careful.
I haven't done this, but a painter I know has used the gum that is used to apply gold leaf to re-stick a decal on a motorcycle.
