Crazy Info/Rumor

I was told today by a Jayco dealer in Mississippi that the Eagle HT line for 2013 is being discontinued. Is this true?

I haven't heard this. They are really promoting the HT in the 2013 Jayco brochure.

I'm going to the Detroit RV Show this week, if I remember I'll ask at one of the Jayco booths.

I'm not surprised. The ceiling in the bedroom area is way too low. We stroked it off our list because of that. I'm sure others have too.

That would be a big surprise as I have looked at the 2013 brochure and on-line at the Jayco site and there are, I think, four HTs there, the same as prior years. What they did was do away with the Eagle Superlite, one step above the HT, and now call it Eagle, I believe. Then they, I think, renamed the regular Eagle the Premier and retained the Pinnacle as their high-end FW. If you are still worried, just give them a call and ask them. Maybe I am wrong about this, hope not as I bought an HT last year and would hate to see it as an orphan already. Plus, with all the competition from other manufacturers for the 1/2 ton towable line, why would they drop out?

My guess would be, they are not dropping out, but likely doing a re-design to widen its appeal.

I can't imagine Jayco doing away with the HT as it is their lightest 5th wheel for 1/2 ton trucks and there is a market for them. Not much to choose from as far as small lightweight quality 5ers so Jayco is the way to go!
We love our 23.5 HT

I hope that is just a rumor. I'm very concern since I have been waiting for my 26 .5 RLS Cocoa Style HT . This unit was promised for delivery back on February the 1st. I'm still waiting ... I hope camping world will stick to their promise. I really like that unit.

I wouldn't worry about it! Jayco still has them on their sites and lots of dealers have them. I think it's just a rumour
