Crossmember bars

I’m putting on new axels and ordered morryde wet bolt kit and noticed the crossmember bars. Does anyone have an opinion on if it’s worth adding this. I was talking to morryde today he recommended getting one or three to help reduce frame stress. Just looking for any input on if it’s worth the time and money. Thank you

I just put crossmembers on my 2015 323LKTS. The hangers for the leaf springs had started to bend inward, and one was even tearing apart from the I beam. The hangers had to be cut off and replaced, and the shop strongly advised putting the cross members at the 3 hangers to prevent this from occurring again. It does add extra weight, but in my opinion well worth the cost and lbs. The original equipment used by most manufacturers is the lightest and least expensive they can get away with. My new hangers are thicker, and the cross members mean I won't have a repeat of this problem ever again on this fifth wheel.

It helps with the torsional loads that occur to the little "box beam" that is welded to the frame where the spring hangars attach. Strengthens that are and helps prevent cracking. Great idea to put them there.
