Don't feel like the Lone Ranger in December I tried to buy a New V-8 Gas burner truck from my 2 local Ford Dealers. Both of them told me I would not be HAPPY with a V-8 gas engine. They said I needed V-6 Ecoboost or a Diesel engine. Keep in mind I had CASH money in my pocket to buy my New truck, I told them this and neither one was interested in selling me a Gas V-8 engine. Told them both to go fly a Kite. And went to Dodge Ram dealer and bought me a V-8 Truck with all of the options I wanted, and they were happy to sell me what I wanted and take my CASH money. Now I am HAPPY.....I had been driving Fords since 1984, got a New truck every 3 years.

What is your order date? I've had a trailer on order since September.

The factory makes fifth wheels in batches by model number. The popular models (e.g. North Point 377RLBH) is made regularly. Other models less often. Some newer models may be waiting to fill a "full run" of stock & custom orders before they build them. All that said, your dealer should be able to explain what any delay is, the factory is pretty open with dealers on what is going on with build pipelines.

You could have factory ordered the Ford, as I did. No biggie. They *have to* take your order, but they are also 'highly motivated' to sell you something they've had on the lot for 3 months as well. They would have absolutely taken your money either way.

I had all my discounts etched in stone and wasn't getting a better deal taking dealer stock, I also wanted the gas motor, and got it, just have to make it happen. Same with the campers... don't see exactly what you want? You can absolutely get it.

^^ yes that is who I ordered through. loved the online experience, but was not a big fan of their RVOne dealer in Tampa! Custom ordering wasn't a problem.

Placed an order with VOGT - Ft Worth

As much as we were trying to do business with our local dealer he would not budge on trade in price or selling price - we found the best deal in Texas - VOGT RV.
Our salesman says early April per the factory so that gives us time to possibly sell our Big Horn or if all else fails he gave us a good trade in price.
We plan on traveling out to pick up the new unit and camp at Grapevine Vineyards RV Park for a week to shake down the new rig.
The salesman hooked us up with The 12 Volt guy to install and setup a Winegard Trav'lr Satillite Dish and he comes to the dealer to do it.
I really had to have the disc brakes and third A/C
We are excited!

I placed my order Feb 5, 2021 with VOGT RV in Ft Worth - they told me early April to get the order I guess - now they are saying late May - who knows.
Tough way to run a railroad.

That really concerns me - we have already had to cancel our "Spring Trip" because we don't have a rig. I sold my Big Horn last week. So if you have been waiting since November is there any indication when it will arrive or what the hold up is?

I ordered a 36FBTS with almost every option available - what do you have coming?

Rona, rona has the whole world behind. Parts, supplies, materials, shipments, low staffing, etc. At my job it's taking 3 to 4 months to get gas blower parts.

I am really curious and concerned. I wonder how many Pinnacle deliveries are being delayed? Are you getting any feedback from your dealer as to the reason for the delays? At what point do you ask for your deposit back and go find something else?

I am contacting my guy today and see what I can find out-

Because they don't have the parts to build/finish it. This is an issue industry wide, as Earl said, due to covid and an unprecedented demand for new rigs.

Here is a pod-cast/you tube from last week that discusses the parts issue.

I did communicate with my sales guy Mike Drudge at VOGT today. He mentioned the factory would be doing a run of Pinnacles in May and my order will be included and should see it in June. Mike is a good guy and I know he's doing his best.

It has been frustrating but, as someone mentioned getting parts for assemblies can be unpredictable at times. I think all the manufactuers are in the same boat and there is almost nothing in used inventory.

We just have to wait patiently (with teeth gritted)

We are so looking forward to joining the Pinnacle family
