So you have to connect and disconnect the system everytime? Seems like that only leaves the uphill benefit, not the sanitary benefit.

Ok, the original picture is where you hook up the stinky slinky if needed. Like when the Sanicon system is down. This was my confusion.

Yes, I always have it connected to the dump. I just pull the dump valves and flip the on/off switch. Here's some more pics:

Can you tell me what else you had to buy that did not come with this hose to add to your current sanicon? When I went on Amazon, one reader wrote this when I asked if I could add it to the current hose...…...I had to purchase the following with it: Banjo 150C Polypropylene Cam & Groove Fitting, 1-1/2" Female Coupler x Hose Shank. I also had to purchase male equivalent in order to make it work.

Includes: 21' Hose, Union, &
Clamp

The only thing you'll need to buy is an additional hose clamp. It only comes with one clamp. The extension requires a total of 3 clamps. 2 on each side of the union and 1 at the dump connection.

And I'm assuming it all fits in the Sanicon compartment?

They fit in my North Point when I had it. The box on my new Pinnacle looks like it is larger than the one on the North Point and yes it fits. You just have to gradually fold it back in as opposed to trying to "stuff" it.

Have a similar problem on my Redhawk 26 XD. Knocked off the black tank valve entering an RV park on an uneven grade. Fortunately the tank was empty and fresh. Now I alway carry a spare.

Well, took it to the dealer and they took several pictures to send to Jayco for an authorization to dismantle the exterior plumbing and reconstruct it to lift it out of harms way. They said it should be just above the stabilizer jack. They will send me the authorization number since we will be traveling for the next 11 months and will need to find a Jayco dealer that will be willing to do the warranty work. Just hope it is still intact between now and then

Unbelievable. It amazes me something like that can roll off the assembly line and NOBODY says anything about it. I find it hard to believe that nobody noticed it. They did. They just didn't do anything about it. A Pinnacle?????

I figured that! Makes no difference how much you pay for a rig, they will always have problems. I seriously believe Jayco doesn't have a QC department. They just throw their crap against the wall and see how much of it will stick! Quality control would slow up their production..........they let the buyer do the QC. Some people will accept it.......not me. I'm a firm believer that the "squeaky wheel will get the grease". Just don't get nasty with them.....be very calm and diplomatic..........kill them with kindness.

Received a text today from my dealer stating that Jayco has authorized fixing the low plumbing problem. Now I just need to find a dealer along our travels that will be willing to do the job.

Are they covering it under warranty?

Yes, it's warranty work. Our unit is just under 3 months old.

I have a Melbourne Jayco with the same issue but past warranty unfortunately. Wish I knew this before buying one! They should be sued for manufacturing motorhomes that way.
