Dead LEDs in tail light 2017 Eagle 325bhqs

We've only had the trailer for about 3 months and more than 1/3 of the LED in our driver side tail light are out. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know if this is something I should contact Jayco directly about vs. dealing with weeks of delays at Camping World?

The lens is removable but the LEDs aren't. So the base or whole thing needs replaced. Unfortunately I highly doubt Jayco will send you one. You will probably have to go through the dealer and warranty process or buy one yourself out of pocket. But you might be able to negotiate getting reimbursed.

How far away is the dealership? Take a picture with the lens off with the good light lite up. Grab your vin number and give Jayco a call. I have heard many times of people calling Jayco directly for warranty issues, and Jayco sending the parts directly to the customer. Its worth a call if you feel you can replace the light yourself, or have someone do it locally.

I would try and self warranty if too far from the dealer.

I'm attempting the self-warranty route with Jayco first. Here's the two tail lights just for reference. Strange that so many of the LEDs are already blown.

Jeeze... that stinks. half the reason I go with LED's is they are supposed to last pretty much forever.

Just me, but I'd probably shop around for replacements that are a different SKU than the ones that failed / are failing and try to get Jayco to pay for a chunk of that. I don't re-install a broken part with the same part if the original let me down.

Could be getting water in the light and causing damage. My left light had condensation in it when I took delivery. The tech pulled the lens and cleaned it and put some sealer on the housing and put the lense back on. So far no more water.
