Designer 35RLTS - Decisions

I had a look a the new Pinnacle 5th wheel floor plans yesterday and like the Designer 35RLTS much better. This is a floor plan I have liked for a couple of years, but I was hoping to sell my house before I pulled the trigger. It looks like I'm about to pull the trigger the first of this next week so I don't have to go shopping again for a unit I like.
Decisions decisions decisions.

Does this mean you will just go ahead and rent your house? The economy will certainly go up once again, and the value when the market rebounds will be nice pocket change. Let us know when ya get the new tt

Soon to be a Jayco Owner

Well I did it this morning. I put a deposit on a 2010 Designer 35RLTS. The hitch install and delivery is scheduled for 8-19. Now that the decision has been made, I'm ready NOW!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know it has been a long wait--but definitely worth it. Keep us posted on the maiden voyage and post photos when you can.

Ed - as a former Peachtree City (13 yrs) resident and now resident on Lake Wedowee and owner of a Designer, good luck. We are not full timers but have several full time friends and they all love it. One thing they all agree on, pack clothes light, you don't need nearly the numbers you think you will need.

As for the Designer, we have had excellent service with ours. It is the best constructed unit I have ever owned. We also had excellent service out of a Sunnybrook TT. I am keeping up with our trips and we have now passed 20,000 towing miles with no issues. I think you made a good choice - Good luck and happy trails!

And if you are a Christian, interested in giving of your time and talents and in return have a bunch of free camping with wonderful people, contact me.

Today is day 6 and I have been in it every night. I have to make a trip this weekend, but will be back in my Designer the first of next week. I'm thinking of moving it to a nearby campground for a few days just to get out of town. This is a good excuse and while it is gone I will have a bit of leveling done on the low side of my home base parking spot. I don't want to have to block it up as far each time I come back "home".
All systems are go at this point. No problems.

My maiden voyage is now set up. I have been trying to get a reserved RV space at Road Atlanta for the Petite LeMans race at the end of September. It was booked up, but I lucked out and found someone with a reservation that can't go and it is too late for him to cancel so I bought his do***ents and have already called Road Atlanta and they are now in my name. So I'm off to the north side of Atlanta in a month. It was fun last year as a day visitor to the race. It will be much more fun being there all the time.

Been to Michigan Speedway several times. Rented RVs and parked in the infield. Ive never been to a party that big before.

I bet that the road courses would be interesting to see .... perhaps someday ...

I may do that at some point av8arkie. Today I am in Georgia emptying my house. I finally gave up trying to sell it and listed it for rent. The rental market here is amazing and it should rent within a week. At least this will stop the big cash bleed each month.
