Deteriorating grommets
Has anyone noticed their rubber grommets around the running lights deteriorating? I’m talking about the small, 3/4” round lights. Last time I washed my trailer I noticed the black streaks all originated from those grommets. I’m probably going to get some new ones to replace them. Has anyone ever replaced those? Seems like the lights just pop in or out.
When I do replace them, I will let them soak in some aerospace 303 before I install them.

We have a friend who uses 303 on the entire surface of his fiver. Looks great in Arizona cannot have enough UV protection! Thanks

Have not noticed that on mine. But they worry me the most as a great spot for water to get behind the wall. Have not looked close at them but are they just a pop out and replace as far as you know?

Yes, I think they are a pressure fit and simply pop out to remove...though I haven’t tried it yet

Just means your washing it too much! Next time you get the urge you can come wash mine...oh wait, I still don't have mine back from warranty work (dropped off before Christmas). But really, I removed one of my grommets from the middle light when I installed my backup camera. It was already pretty deteriorated after about 10 months. I replaced it with a new one.

How did you remove the light? Screwdriver? Where did you get the replacement?

Yes, I gently pried it out with a flat head screwdriver. The original grommet pretty much fell apart in my fingers when I popped it out. The weird part was I checked all the other grommets and they were fine?? I have a rubber grommet kit similar to this https://www.amazon.com/RAM-PRO-Assor...er+grommet+kit
I pulled out the matching size and replaced.

Tom & Dan the other thing to keep an eye on is the caulk around the scare lights.
On my 06 Mobile Suites I had one that got water in behind. Not a good thing. If I had ordered this Jayco, it would not have had scare lights.

Thanks Dan I ordered the grommet kit so when I get mine back from the shop in mid March I can check them out. March makes a year for me in the 377 so maybe time to change them.

Deteriorating grommets
I’m not saying your wrong when calling them “O” rings, but if you click on the link for them at Amazon...they’re called rubber grommets. They are used for what you describe in your post. My description of what an “O” ring is different from yours. Again, I’m not saying you’re wrong, nor am I being a butt. Just my explanation.
Edited to add pic of my grommet kit.
