Diesel generator

I am new to campers/RVs and trying to get ahead of a few issues before they arise. I am picking up my north point 377rlbh in 3 weeks and have some questions around power. For the first year this 5th wheel will be run on generator power every weekend. I'm buying a diesel generator for longevity and fuel consumption reasons. With this 5th wheel will I need a generator with a 50 amp receptacle or will a 30 amp run all I need. I was told a 50 amp service is needed for shore power but I'm not installing electricity for the next year or two because the price is through the roof.. the 5th wheel is for a fishing camp for my family and I since I run charters weekly and the drive is killing me.

Anything else I need to know, I read that someone rewired their TVs so they could run them when not on shore power. Does that mean they won't run off a generator? Also, I am in S louisiana so both ACs is a must.

Any help is appreciated.

To run both AC units you need 50 amps. There may be a way to run both on only 30 amps but you won’t be able to run anything else

Need 50 amp 240v with a neutral and you will be gold.

They probably ran their TV's on an inverter. That takes battery 12v dc and converts it to 120v ac.

Thank yall, anyone have any experience or suggestions for diesel generators... right now in leaning toward the 5kw generac as it was a 50 amp receptacle, and do I have to worry about damaging small electronics? I only say that because I see a lot of talk around generators with or without inverters.

Our Seneca is 36' with two generators. I came with a Onan Quiet Diesel 9000.

It easily powers all of our AC needs in the hot humid months along with our other appliances.
