Hi Dianne, When we looked this year I went on the web site Jayco picked out the model. Then go to compare and built the site bring you to an option page. We printed it out to compare to the 09's, another thought is ask a dealer for a 09 book and a 2010 book.
We started looking at an 08 , 09 then ordered our 2010. For us a lot changed in the 2010 model. We looked all over Chicagoland area in a 500 mile radius to find what we or the Boss wanted. That said we are retired so we have the time.
Good Luck with your search. Hopefully the is a dealer close by.
Wayne

Welcome to the Jayco owners website, Gary and Dianne.
I agree with you, Dianne, that it would be much more customer friendly for Jayco to have staff at their corporate offices who were prepared to talk with potential buyers about their products. That said, Jayco has an excellent reputation for manufacturing quality travel trailers and providing solid customer support through their network of Jayco dealers.
My wife and I have a 2010 Jayflight G2 29RLS that is virtually identical to the 2009 model. The primary difference is that the spare tire is underneath the trailer rather than on the back bumper. We compared the two trailers by comparing brochures we obtained at our dealership and by talking with a sales representative. I don't know if the same similarities apply to the Superlite 25.5 RKS but you might use the same method to compare 2010 and 2009 models. By the way, we chose to upgrade the air conditioner to a 15,000 BTU because of the Texas heat. Arizona heat can be as bad or worse!
Good luck in your search for the best choice for the two of you.
Thanks for all the answers. We have talked to several dealers that have 2009 models available at quite a bit less than the 2010. One dealer told us the 2010 was set higher on the frame and beside that and the color scheme, little had changed. Other dealers said there wasn't any "real" difference.
Hubby is very antsy to get another RV. We haven't been without one since 1979 except for the few months when we were waiting for the orders to be filled on 2 of them - a 1998 Prowler TT that served us well for 8 years and the Hitchhiker Discover America 35' fifth wheel which has been our winter home these last 3+ years. From 1979-1998 we had a Tioga mini-motorhome for lots of fun summer vacations.
We do love the RV lifestyle so hope to find just what will serve us for years to come.
Dianne
PS: the only reason to sell our HH is because we now have a winter home in AZ and want a smaller unit to get into more camping places and use 1-2 weeks at a time rather than living in the RV 6-7 months at a time.
Just curious.... and forgot to ask earlier. Which one of you is the fiddle player?

The 2010 models are a little bit higher, but you can adjust the springs on the other models to get a higher ride. I think from looking at different models, not a lot has changed in the last couple of years. I believe that the 08 models had a different cap than the newer units, the rounded front instead of the cupped out design on the corners. Interior color, exterior options, and everything else seems to be the same.
