Dishwasher

Has anyone ever looked at installing a Fisher Paykel Drawer Dishwasher under the sink on a Pinnacle? Some wood working would need to be done but as long as it fits...

I have a "DW" dishwasher, works most of the time, but occasionally I have to do them myself by hand

Personally I hate filling up landfills with disposable crap just because I'm too lazy to do a few dishes. Oil has to be located, drilled for, extracted, hauled to refinery, refined, transported to a plant, formed into plastic ware, packaged, hauled to a store, just so we can use it once and throw in a landfill. I use real dishes, or paper plates which burn up and then wash the silverware. If we're on a short trip I've been known to bring stuff home and put in the DWasher at home to save me effort while camping, we have a big plastic box for foodstuff and things we shuttle out of the TT so we're not attracting critters while its stored. Plus I hate using paper plastic with an otherwise excellent meal.

Back OT, the dishwasher sounds like an interesting idea, just added weight but if you're not concerned about that, seems doable and real luxury! I'd be envious of someone who had that setup!

Same here, like to keep the trash going to the land fill to a minimum.

In most RVs that included the dishwasher it gets put under the cooktop since most don't have the oven. The widths are basically the same so adding it there was easy.

When there is an oven that option is no longer available so one has to look elsewhere. As long at the area under the sink is deep enough it should fit. May need some wood work to fit and maybe a little plumbing rerouting.

Since we don't have one yet and the closest dealer is an hour away we've not gone to take a look yet but I figure the dimensions under most sinks are basically the same. If anyone has some time to take some basic measurements such as the height and width of the opening and the distance from the front of the opening and the back wall along with a picture or two that would help figuring it out.

I use paper plates that I burn in my camp fire, I simply wash the forks and knives etc using the outdoor shower. I do have dishes that I use occasionally as well.

If we were full-timing I would consider a dishwasher.
