Dometic Refrigerator

Looking for some help. We have a 2019 321rsts with the 4 door dometic refrigerator. We live in the Palm Springs area and store our unit in a fully enclosed storage unit. As you can imagine it gets quite warm/hot inside. We have 20amp service that we use to keep the batteries charged and run the refrigerator prior to heading out. With the current heat we just can’t get the unit to cool down. I know a big part is the lack of air flow. This unit has 4 fans and all are working. Looking for ideas on what can try to cool the refrigerator down before we pull it out.

Can you run the A/C to cool the complete inside of the rig too, so that heat isn't working against the fridge?

Do you have a fan inside the refrigerator? Should have one to reduce Frost and condensation on the cooling fins. Frost will mess up the thermostat on the fin.
The fans outside create the up draft to cool the tubes and chimney.

Remove the top outside vent. There should be a wood deflector from top of fridge to top of vent hole. Our norcold the deflector was not installed properly. There should be insulation both sides of fridge visible. I added a piece of insulation above fridge to slideout roof. Had to insulate and seal the whole one side.
130*F plus air above and down the entire side does not allow it to work at all.

Ours works properly now.

Wished I could but only a shared 20amp circuit. I am guessing the lack of air flow and high temp in the storage unit I am up against some bad odds.

Your fridge install is probably not correct from the factory. It's very common for them not to follow the compartment requirements from the fridge manufacturer. Get a copy of the correct install manual for your fridge and it will give all the info on the proper measurements and baffles needed and such. Air flow has to be correct for it to cool properly.
