Door handle Failure

My last camp trip went to open door from inside and the handle snapped in half. Just enough was left that I could use both hands to pop it open. Got some JB weld and overlapped the piece that came off and a bunch of gorilla tape to get thru week.
Called Bauer since limited lifetime warranty to get a new inside half. They do not sell parts. There warranty was a whopping 20% off and there price with shipping and tax was 40% more than etrailer.
Got a Bluetooth version and installed. Pretty neat how that works. Gonna build up back side of handle with JB weld to give it more support.
I could see having a fire and having that happen in the middle of night.
