Door lock

Door has been hard to unlock lately, so this morning made time to look at it. Couple of the screws had came loose and lock had shifted, putting everything in a bind. Loosened all screws & repositioned lock and seems good now......

Door lock

I am constantly tightening them. I'm thinking medium strength thread lock next time. I also have to shoot graphite spray in there every couple of weeks to keep everything from internal friction binding.

Ours also looses the code after about 2 weeks with new batteries.

On mine the bottom screw must've stripped the threads as it just spins. I need to find some way to secure it as it fequently comes lose and causes issues.

Thanks - made me go check mine, found both screws loose, also found a couple of the screws on the inside loose also. Would have never thought to check this if you hadn't posted.

Thanks for the tip, got some Locktite Threadlocker Blue 242 from HD today and put it on all the loose screws I found on our door lock.
