Drain tubes?

Quick question:

On my 5th, I have 2 tubes coming out of the belly under the fresh water tank plus a separate drain line attached to the frame with a valve on it. That one's my tank drain.

Out of the other two, 1 is 1½" diameter pool hose with a rubber on the end (I assume the keep things from crawling up in there. This one seems to be my FW overfill drain.

The other is a white ¾ hose, that looks like a fresh water hose. Anyone know what this one is for? I haven't been able to figure that out.

The two 1/2" ones are tank overflows. The one with the hose faucet is the tank drain.

I am thinking that this may be the outlet for your low point drain.

If you have an ice maker one could be the drain from the ice maker as well.

Low points are scattered throughout the unit depending on how many faucets you have. Some are hidden behind panels in the basement. There should be a sticker on the bottom portion of the outside wall saying low point drain to advise you.

The other hoses you have determined correctly.

Attached is a picture that shows what I'm talking about.

The frame mount valve is the tank drain, the large hose with the rubber on it is what seems to be the overflow.

The white fresh water hose, haven't been able to get anything to come out of that one yet. Can't figure out what it's for......

I have the same hose and have never had water come out of it. I believe it is an air vent that allows air into the tank when you draw from it.

I have the same arrangement. I have no clue what the small hose by the tank overflow tube is but I suspect it is some type of vent in the fresh water tanks.

You'd think the overflow tubes would vent the tank as the water dropped. If you're plumbed for a washer/dryer setup, might it have something to do with that?

First trip with new camper 29.5 bhds and water has constantly dripped from big black hose under rear of camper. I am on city water so I should not have any in the tank. Hot water heater is not running so dont know why water keeps coming out. A wire and piping diagram would be nice. I am going to open the tank drain and see what happens. It runs a while then stops then runs again. If I cant figure it out I will go to the shop and ask the tech.

The hose with the rubber on the end is a 2nd fresh water overflow according to the dealer. I did get water running from both overflows when I inadvertently left the hose running too long. I am suspicious that there are actually two fresh water tanks but I have not confirmed that.

I have that problem when my city water pressure is too high. The water goes back through the water pump to the water tank. It means there is an issue in the water pump valving as it is not supposed to do this. It may just be a piece of something got in there or it means the water pump is faulty.

Water system is pretty simple. Just pull all the bottom drawers and open the cabinets. You can see where all the water lines run. Go inside the pass through compartment and remove the access panel and you can see all the plumbing for the water pump and control station (at least on mine you can).

The manual has pictures of what the water valves all do, but, it doesn't always tell you where they are.
