Thumbs up

Got to take a look at mine. Been trying to get it to work all night. Loose connections water leaking under sink and beside refrigerator. Who ever put these lines in did not tighten a dang thing. Poor quality control for sure. Got everything tight and now the pump just spits water and cycles off. Will have to give this fix a try in the morning.

At least camping in the driveway since we can't go to the beach has its benefits!

We are having issues finding the switch for the pump. Do you have pictures of where the switch is?

We are now up and running. No kinks, no air leaks, both valves open, and water in the 5 gallon jug. Took the pump from under the counter. Took off the nose cap of the pump. Nose cap is opposite the power button end. Under the cap is an adjustable screw. Tightened the screw a little and water started coming out the spigot. Adjusted screw to maximize flow. Remounted the pump.

The switch is on the pump itself

I did not fully read this posting. What pump do you have? I have not seen an oem pump in a camper that is not 12 volt? I have no experience with the separate bottled water system, just seams odd.

What do you have for 5ver? Pinnacle like the original poster?

Had a similar problem on our eagle. Turned out to be a kinked line from the bottle to the pump.

From the factory, my drinking water system leaked from the fixture under the sink that leads to the fridge in the slide. After stupidly waiting too long after I knew something was wrong because the pump was cycling, I had water everywhere. Sounds like Jayco needs some training for whoever is installing these lines. Not complaining too much, overall that has been the biggest problem I've had so far.

Also, my pump is 120V as well. Which is think is pretty shortsighted, but my guess is that there is no other 12V in the island, so they took the easy way which is to tap into the 120V. I don't camp much without power, but I do some. And it doesn't run off the inverter either.

My Dealer said the same thing....Jayco is a new line for them and they had to call Jayco to confirm...(plus they couldn't figure out why the water in fridge wouldn't work) that is how the dealer found the pump behind the trash bin. They couldn't get it to work until shore power was attached.

....I thought that perhaps they forgot hook it up to the inventor, but Jayco said no.

I am also trying to find out why the oven/range ignition button will only work while on shore power...All my other units ran of battery...
