Dryer Install

We just bought a 2021 36 KPTS and it has a washer but no dryer. Measuring the door frame it looks to be under 24" wide. For those that have installed their own washer /dryer, which side of the door frame did you remove? Since the door will have to come off I'm thinking on remocing that same side.

RV dryers are usually 23.5 wide and although close should go right through the door.

On second thought turning it sideways should give me another inch as reading the specs most are 22.5 deep.

I have the exact unit
no problem getting the washer and dryer in

once in the closet there isn't any space around them

Did you go with the vented or ventless? I'm leaning towards the vented.

I've got to ask why your Pinnacle would just have a washer. Our Splendide is a combo unit that is vented. It works well, not like our big Maytag's at home, but the wife is happy with it. Keeps us out of the laundromats. Are you just looking for a dryer to stack on top of the washer or are you wanting to replace the washer with a combo unit?

Dryers normally only come vented, the combo washer/dryer is what comes vent/no vent. As F350guy mentioned do you possibly have a ventless combo unit?

I just bought this from a RV dealer. It is a 2021 and according to the title dates the owner only had it for 11 months in Vermont. The guy traded it in for a rear kitchen model Solitude. It is only a washer and the sales man had no idea why. He did however say that he has a seasonal lot not to far from here. I'm thinking maybe they used clothes line like my mom did back in the 60's. lol
