Dyson vacuum
Anyone know why the 2016 Jaycos come with the built in vacuum and not the Dyson slim?
For those who have the Dyson, does it work well?
This central vac they put in now is worse then the Dirt Devil central vac.
Unless it's a brand new bag the suction "sucks".
The only thing good about it is the hose can go outside and vacuum the storage and the sweep port in the kitchen is handy.
Finagling the hose and attachments is a PITA and making sure there is 120 volts to use it.
Where as grabbing a charged cordless vac standing in the closet seems much more convenient.

They probably had requests for the central system.
We love the Dyson in our PINNACLE, works great.

Thought I would like the central vac, but I agree it's not much. The kick panel for the kitchen is great, enough for us to put up with the weak vac. May just add a Dyson for the carpet.

The Dyson that came in our Pinnacle works great, probably going to get one for the house also.

We have the cordless Dyson from Target. Works great. It makes you realize how cheap the carpet is they use in campers (Dyson sucks up lots of carpet fuzz - carpet is like brand new).

We use the cordless Dyson at home and in the trailer. It will carry enough charge to use it a couple times (probably more, but haven't been out long enough to use it more than twice LOL!)
I had thought about installing on-board vacuum, but when we bought the Dyson for home, those plans went by the wayside. Now if we're going to be out for more than 2 nights, we just toss the Dyson in the top bunk. If the top bunk ever needs to be occupied, we can just take off the hose and toss it under our bed.
Probably the best vacuum I've ever owned, corded or not, and it's A LOT better than our corded Dyson (1st gen, over 10 years old).

Dyson is the best. No other unit is built as well or will pickup as well. Don't waste your money on others the wife will love this unit.

We seen a comparison between the Dyson and Shark vacuums. We were sold on the Shark and it was less money. Works well in our RV and it doesn't take up much space. Has a wall mount also.

The Shark Rotator for $159. at Sams is far superior to the Dyson. It is corded, but the cord is very long, it comes with detailing attachments, and is very versatile. The boss lady loves it over any vacuum she has ever used.

Ditto, on the make. If Mama is happy with the Shark, I'm happy also! That leaves me a hundred or so to spend on something else.

We just bought a cordless Electrolux at Lowe's for our camper for $150. We based our decision on the online reviews, and we spent enough to get a model with a lithium ion battery. We've used it once when cleaning the camper a couple of weeks ago and we were pleased with the performance.
