Eagle 321RSTS

Stopped into Camping World in Pensacola, FL today and had a look at a 2016 Eagle 321RSTS they had on the lot. Strange thing is is that I have a 2016 Eagle 321RSTS (Canadian version), and these two units are completely different! The Camping world unit has a different floor plan as well as other substantive differences. The Camping world unit was way below the standard of my unit. What gives??

Jayco did make some mid year changes on some of the Eagle 5er's. The 321RSTS could have been one of them. I know that the 323LKTS changed the couch to an 'L' shape.

Ya, that's the one. Completely different bath layout than mine. In addition there are other differences such as the control panel inside for example. I would not have selected the Eagle if this is what had been on offer at home. The Canadian version of this unit is miles ahead of the camping world example.

The best explanation I can come up with is yours is a 2016 and that one is a 2015

Initially I thought the same thing, however the sales staff are offering the unit as a 2016. In any event I am very happy with the Eagle I bought, I would not be happy with the unit on offer in FL.

When looking for our Eagle we looked at a couple of units that the dealer (not ours) insisted were 2016, despite significant differences in the floor plan. Needless to say, we walked because didn't trust them

IMO, that would not indicate dis-honesty by the dealer. FP changes are often made during a year run, especially at the beginning and end of a year. The dealer has no say in it and the paperwork would indicate correctly, even though there may be some differences.

It happens all the time with all manufacturers.

Figured it out🤔

After doing some research on the Jayco website I have concluded that the 5'er I was shown @ CW in Pensicola was in fact a 2015 Eagle 321RSTS, a base model with no options. This confusion on my part was due to bad info being passed by the sales staff member we spoke with there. In conclusion after having been in both model years of the 321RSTS, Joyco has raised the bar significantly in the Eagle 321RSTS for the 2016 model year. I'm very happy with the changes Jayco made in 2016.

Glad you got it figured out! I'll bet it was priced lower too!

Well, it was advertised just a few grand short of what we paid for the 2016 however I would expect if you started dealing on the unit you could get it cheaper for sure. I think we got a lot of trailer for an excellent price from our dealer! I must admit, if Jayco had not made the changes to the 2016 then we would most likely be in a Pinnacle.
