Eagle 321RSTS question….

One thing that’s always bugged me about my trailer is that due to the position of the island I can’t open the pantry when the kitchen slide is in. I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be that way. Seems it could’ve been two inches in one direction and I’d be able to open the door. For those of you with this model, is it this way for you, or was mine put together on the Friday before Xmas break.

No sir, ours are like that also the only way to get into it is if we let the slide out, it's not a deal breaker for us because the only time we have to go in the pantry is after we get to were are going.

In our travel if we can get to the bathroom we are good to go, also in travel I bought a plug in ice chest off of Amazon the call RougeRV, we have all of our drink and what sandwich that we plan to eat in our travel to were we are going.

You are correct, the pantry can't open when the slide is in. Also we can't get to the pantry when the opposite slide is in, the dining room table is too close to the island. Do you have that issue too?

That refrigerator Big1 suggested sounds like something we should get too. Thanks

Same here…We are unable to access the pantry when the slides are closed. When traveling and slides are closed, we can access the refrigerator side of our side by side residential refrigerator. We put dry good in the closet when traveling so we can get to bread, snacks, etc. if I need to put a slide out, I use a small generator so I am not using much battery power. I try to find an end or pull in site against a curb at rest areas so the slide is not extending inward to the parking area.

That’s a mystery to me too.

I guess one good thing about the pantry being blocked is that it won’t open all the way in route if you close it incorrectly.

I guess when I looked at it, it seemed like an odd design where if it were 2 inches further the pantry could be opened and the fridge could still be opened. Maybe it’s a good thing there’s more space on the fridge side in case the fridge ever needs to come out.

The DW and I love that little ice chest we take it everywhere, I put up my back seats in my ram and plug it in, they also give you both plug, one that you can plug in a regular outlet and a cigarette lighter plug. A good friend of mines love it so well we bought him one also. No more having to get ice or pour the water out of a ice chest when it melt. We love it and take it with us whenever we go on a trip.

Uhh, I'm not sure but as it is now you can open one of the door to the fridge and if it was more forward it will block both doors so you wouldn't be able to open any in travel, but I haven't check that out.
