Eagle 33.5 RETS on our short list.

Just joined the forum today. We recently lost our 2013 Outback TT in an arson fire in the covered storage facility we stored it in. We're now looking to move to a fiver and are looking seriously at the Eagle 33.5 RETS. I'm wondering if anyone out there has one and if so, what your experience has been.

We have a 2012 Ram Laramie 2500 diesel for a TV. While we do some long weekend trips, we also will be using it for 2 or 3 month-plus trips during the year. This model seems to meet the inside and outside storage needs we have, and is not too heavy for the TV.

This will be our first FW, so I'm also interested in help selecting an appropriate hitch. One that looks interesting is the Andersen Ultimate hitch vs. the standard fiver hitch. Any comments on either would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We ordered our Eagle 33.5 Rets this fall and received December 18th. Really like the floorplan and new features as an end of year order. Have not been able to use our first 5th wheel living in northern Illinois, but our enthusiasm is high for a great 2014 camping season! Enjoy yours and hopefully we can stay in communication as new 5vers and Eagle owners!
Our best with your new trailer

We bought our 33.5 this past summer. We used it during football season several times and also in December a couple of times. We are in Fl. so we don't have many weather problems in the winter. Our TV is a 2011 F250. This 5er pulls like a dream as compared to our previous pull behind. I would recommend the 33.5 eagle based on my experience.
