Eagle 347BHOK Furnace Question

I have a problem with my furnace not lighting and it is very difficult to get at since the original owners did not put an access door on this unit.

Does anyone know which model Dometic furnace went into a 2018 model? I believe it is a 35,000BTU furnace. I would like to purchase an access panel for it so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Steadfastly,

Welcome to JOF

You may want to contact Jayco Customer Support directly (phone and/or e-mail) along with your 347BHOK "VIN'. I would request the following:

* Furnace manufacture name and model number.
* Outer wall framing schematics (install your own access panel).
* Suppler name who manufacture's outside wall furnace access panels.

The following JOF thread may be a helpful read while waiting for additional member responses:

Thanks. Done that. No reply yet so thought I would try here in case someone knew. I did find out that it is likely a 35,000 BTU furnace but it's in such a difficult spot. The engineer that designed this had no idea what it was like to do service on it. For the little it would have cost to put an outside access door on it, this should have certainly been done on this model.

I agree, some of the FW furnaces are extremely difficult to service (ie; reach re-set switch), and the thought of removing one can be a major task.

My TT's Atwood furnace is located under the jackknife sofa and also lacks an outside access panel. I had to remove the furnace to R&R a simple sail switch.
