Eagle HT 27.5 RKDS Main Slide

Hey Folks,

Anyone know how to manually retract the main slide of a HT 27.5 RKDS? I'm not in need to do it right now but just want to be prepared if/when the time comes.

I've got a similar 26.5 BHS. Under the trailer closer to the stairs in my case, is a small square section of the underside covering. Its screwed in. My guess is the motor for the slide is right there behind that cover. Probably has a point you could connect a socket of some size to manually turn the motor thus bringng the slide in or out. Just a guess.

I have seen the section you are talking about. I will take a look under it and report back.

TxLoser ... Bingo, you are the winner! Takes a 5/8" socket.

Glad I could help. Now I know for sure too. Good to know how to work everything manually before you really need to know.

I'll toss in my $0.02. We have two slides opposite each other in the rear living area. Discovered that the manual retract for a slide is on the opposite side. Don't ask why I bring this up.
