Eagle HT 29.5BHOK ordered
After months of researching 5th Wheel models, we decided to place an order for a 29.5BHOK. We strongly considered the 325BHBS model as it was the lightest Eagle bunkhouse model, however we determined it was too much RV for our F-250 gasser. We got a good deal at 27% off MSRP. This would also be our 3rd Jayco in over 4 years.
Here are the options we choose:
-2nd 15K A/C in Bedroom
-50 Amp Service w/2nd AC Prep
-LED Fireplace
-Party Sofa w/Stowable Tables
-4-Point Electric Auto-Leveling System
-Sani-con Turbo Waste Management System
-Corian Countertop
-Frameless Tinted Safety Glass Windows
-Goodyear 16” Tire Upgrade
-Wireless Backup Camera Kit
-MOR/ryde Orbital Pin Box
-Andersen Ultimate Hitch
Hope to take delivery 1st week of February.

Glad to see you choose the 2nd AC unit. You'd be surprised how many don't and regret it later. Good job!

We didn’t order a 2nd AC on our last unit, which is another reason we are upgrading.

Nice trailer and good to see you using a stout truck to tow it with. Jayco is out of their minds advertising a 5th wheel with a GVWR of 12K (30.5MBOK) as a half-ton towable trailer. Unbelievable.

We also have one on order. Expecting a March or early April delivery. We ordered ours with 50amp and the one ac. I called back a day or so later to have the 2nd ac put on as well. I thought it’s cheaper to do it now, from the factory, than during the summer.

Good call on the 2nd AC. It’s definitely cheaper to do it at the building phase vs after. My dealer said typical build duration for Eagle models is 6-8 weeks. I’m curious to know why your delivery timeframe is longer?

I don’t know. We could’ve had a December delivery but I didn’t want it sitting in the snow all winter since I’ve stored my TTs indoors. He did show me a production schedule and we are close to the bottom of the list. Fine by us since it can still be pretty cold yet in March.

That makes sense. What options did you choose and what will you be towing with?

One touch leveling, solid surface countertops, frameless windows, 50amp with 2nd AC, 16 inch tires, Moryde pin box and rear camera. Towing with a Ford F-350.

The Morryde Rubber Pin Box was deleted as an option when I placed the order. I had to choose the Morryde orbital pin Box.

Mine will have the orbital than too. I’ll have it locked out because I’m getting an Andersen hitch.

We placed our order in September after our insurance claim started rolling on our TT. The orbital pin box was not yet an option.

We went down into Nebraska to see the total eclipse in August and were rear ended in Iowa on our way home. The other guys insurance said that there was too much frame damage and totaled it. I was surprised how well it held up. Guy went right under the bumper in a 1999 Ford Escort.

Congratulations. I bought the 2017 model in September with the 2nd AC unit and have been very pleased with it. I would suggest checking the hitch height of your truck as the HT models are somewhat shorter.
