We tow something a little lighter, the Eagle HT 23.5 with our 1500 Ram, we do not have air bags, we choose Timbrens instead, not rough at all unloaded, and we have E rated tires, 10 ply. The Ram has no trouble. We scaled the 5th wheel at 6800 loaded ready to camp.

They're electric, but ought to be hydraulic. With hydraulics, I can use a power drill to run the slides in and ought. Jayco's bizarre electric system makes it necessary to drop the belly to unlock the slide motor for "manual retraction". Not good.

Thumbs up Eagle HT 27.5 BHS

Picked up 2014 27.5 BHS last Oct. Haven't done any long trips yet. Did Thanksgiving weekend and Easter was warm and comfortable. Sure seems to tow better than any trailer (5) I've owned. Like the bunk house - great storage without the grandkids.
Tow with 2011 F150 XLT EcoBoost 4X4 LB, 8200# GVWR, Heavy Duty Payload, Max Trailer Tow (11200#) and 3.73 rear end.
The sticker on the F150 drivers door frame - 2393# payload, 5'er dry hitch is 1310# (will get to a scale to check) so I can carry 4 adults and 100# in the bed.
