Eagle HT suspension question

Our new Eagle HT 28.5 RSTS has two sets of shackle holes. The springs are in the upper holes, and I would like to move them to the lower holes to raise the 5er up some to get closer to level with truck. Is there any problems with doing this? I will also be lowering the pin box by one hole. This should bring me to level when all hitched, and still remain 5"-7" clearance off bed rails. Am I doing the right things to get level????????

From the picture you posted it doesnt look too bad. I would try the pin box first if you have the clearance. With the trailer loaded up with water etc you might level it out. I raised my Eagle with a 6 inch lift but my GMC 3500 has a deep bed box and I go over cattle guards and back country roads.

I had mine lower to the lower shackle hole. That's what it's there for. Plus I installed 16 inch rims to get it raised up some. If you don't have enough gap at the truck side rails, it will hit the bottom of the fiver on some slopes when your pulling into.
