Eagle Premier - How to adjust Compartment Latch?

I have one latch on my one compartment door that will not latch. It seems like the latch falls short of dropping over the stop. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

What type of latch? Thumb latch, that you turn a quarter of a turn to latch or a slam latch?

Call your dealer and talk to a service person. They should be able to tell you how to do it. Once again, a good relationship with your dealer and service personnel will help!

There are opposing nuts on the u bolt catches that can go in and out. If you are having an issue with the catch you would need to loosen the back nut first a half turn on each side then tighten the nuts closest to you until snug. Do not go more that a 1/16 of an inch at a time out as the door skin could be penetrated if you do too much. I would ease the door down and see if it catches before slamming it.

If it's too soon and not snug then do the opposite of above where you start with the closest nuts too you then tighten the farthest from you nuts.

Once you look at it you'll see what I mean.
