I have a friend who has a cherry orchard and he says the best stuff gets exported, mainly to Japan, where a man might pay the equivalent of a dollar or two for a single cherry to give to a girlfriend.

Propane tank leak

Hi wow I also had the same problem. Bought the HT 27sgx in May 2019 and about a month later tank was empty. So head over to Pilot and get tank refilled. As talking to the attendant I mention only had the new rv for over a month. He said ok let me test it when it’s full. Well we found that it was hissing around the on off valve. So he emptied tank so I could take it to a Amerigas dealer in our area. Took it there and left it..later that day got a call and was told the tank has a hole in the tank itself not the valve. So I contacted Jayco customer service. They said email them on letterhead the diagnosis from Amerigas along with the receipt for a new tank and refill of propane from America’s and the refill from Pilot gas station, and reimburse me 100%. Received the check about 4 weeks later. So don’t try through your purchasing dealer because Jayco said it would take about 90 days to get the reimbursement as the dealer needs to submit a claim then once they get it approved then it drags through the red tape of tons oof sign off signature etc then through corporate. So FYI deal direct like I did through Jayco customers service dept. they were great. Hope this helps.

A good dealer would have replaced the tank to you immediately and then filed the claim with Jayco. After all they have lots of tanks around. They could wait for the replacement better than you can. Why make the customer wait for an easy fix?

Yea, the dealer replaced my leaking/hissing regulator. They didn't have the exact one (which is probably good), said this one is better. Either way, it cost me $38 to get the tank filled which I know I hadn't used even half of it since April, taking delivery.
