Estone sound system ??

2013 Pinnacle with Estone sound system and a Toshiba tv. Should I be able to run normal tv through surround sound speakers. So far I have tried every combination with no success. DVD works finally.

My 2013 Eagle has the Jensen stereo but you may be able to do the same thing I did. I took the Audio Out from the back of the TV and connected it to the AUX of the Jensen. My TV audio out is the Optical, so lucky the Jensen had an Optical input too. Now I switch the stereo to AUX and get TV audio through the four speakers in the 5er. If you do this and experience an echo like sound, turn the TV audio down (or shut off the speakers in it via the TV menus and only use the stereo).
