Extra dining chair

I'm thinking of getting and extra dining chair. We have 3 kids so we'd all like to be able to sit at the table to eat. When not using it for dinner, we will use it in the bunk room desk area. Where would I get one from? Have the dealer order it or directly from Jayco? If from Jayco, what's the process?
Thanks

Get a wooden folding chair from Bed Bath and Beyond or Wally World. It will be a lot cheaper and they do match the darker wood interiors.

I'll give them a look. I know the DW would like it to "match"

Your dealer can order the same chair if they have your VIN #.

Be seated when they tell you what is will cost.

No offense to the ladies, but fashion over function in an RV is a hard argument to justify. A nice fold up chair that looks good, fulfills the need, and folds up out of the way when it is not being used makes a world of sense over a matching chair that costs 3 or 4 times as much and will become more of a clothes rack than a desk chair in the bunk room.

Our W Hawk has the dinette with reg chairs [4 of them] and we decided since we only need 2 why should we trip over the extras when we sit down at the table. The argument can be made that it looks "nicer" with all 4, but the 2 won out when after 2 years we have never needed or used the extra ones.

Folding chair is a great idea.

The NP 377RLBH comes with 2 regular chairs and 2 folding chairs. We are looking for another folding chair as we will actually need and use it.

I do agree that function should take precedence over fashion

Me too! We had the same dilemma.
Came with 4 but we only need 2. Occasionally we need 4 and we try to put them in when we know ahead of time. Two folding chairs stowed and out of the way makes more sense than toting them in and out.

We ditched two of our chairs and purchased two wooden folding chairs from IKEA that match the woodwork in our Eagle perfectly. They stow nicely under the bed.

While placing our order on our new rig we ordered 2 additional regular chairs (in place of the 2 folding chairs) to match the ones that came with our 377. They charged us an extra $200 per chair to swap them out but we feel that its worth it. (The fabric is a match so were happy). When the 377 first came out last year it had 4 regular dining chairs in it!!

It is not so much the actual cost of the chair, but the cost of shipping that will make the price jump to the sky.

We are awaiting delivery of our new RSQS. This unit now comes with two stationery and 2 matching folding chairs. Those folding chairs will remain in the closet unless we have dinner guests.

I inquired with the entrance door manufacturer about getting the storm insets for the screen door. They wanted $120, which isn't so bad...but they wanted $180 to ship them to Canada
In Canadian $$ with tax would have cost $500. Out of the question.
Shipping makes things un-buyable sometimes.

It would make sense if they were an ordering option for $100.

I think I'd be planning a weekend trip to Buffalo, of course after they show up at the dealer there.

When you order anything from Jayco, ask what the shipping is. We ordered a new bathroom sink, as I spilt acetone in the original one. The shipping on that item, was within reason, so we got a match to the original. It is nice that you can order replacement, or additional items for your rv that will be matched to what you actually have. That is one very nice thing about Jayco that I love. I just have to use my vin # and they can look up the build and we get what we need.
