My '11 F350 DRW sat noticeably low at the rear with 3300# on the pin. The '17 3500HD sits pretty much flat. I never bothered putting bags in the F350 but I'd get flashed sometimes for the headlights.

There is a marginal difference in wind driving between the DRW we had prior and this SRW. I notice it more when behind something like a car hauler that makes the air move side to side and push the nose cone. I can feel the rear squirm a bit through the seat. I've driven the same roads in similar winds with both trucks and no difference (I10 from Phoenix to PS is one). The trailer would have to lean an awful lot to start twisting the truck underneath it and I've been in winds that push the trailer rear over a foot or more on a gust.
I'm happy with the SRW over the DRW and the rest of it's usage is much better. The SRW is much better on desert trails that the fat arzed DRW

It didn't much but it was enough to affect the headlights at night. Didn't like that.

I have the F350 Lariat DRW, and love it. Crew cab with the long bed. Only challenge is that it's too long for many parking spaces, so I get to walk a bit sometimes.

I've had srw's and now I only purchase Drw's. Experience any over normal winds (5-7mph) while towing or crazy out of the blue crosswinds with a srw. You will definitely be ready for a vehicle change, along with new drawers! .lol.
Serious the stability is hands down worth it.

I have a 2012 King single with a BW slider that pulls a 39' loaded Designer from upstate NY to St. Augustine....comfortable, easy and have no desire or reason to bounce around with duallys. Roads down south are 70 MPH and usually travel.at 65 with no sway.

I traded a 2010 F250 SRW to a 2015 F350 DRW four years ago. Absolutely no regrets! Also, this F350 has 4.30 gears. It gets better towing and in town mpg better than the 2010 F250 did. The 2010 F250 got better non towing highway mpg.
Ford only offers the 4.30 gears on the F450 now. I would recommend the 4.10 gears over the 3.73 standard gears on the F350 DRW. This trucks does very well towing up to 26k#. Four tires on the rear axle makes a big difference. I tow a 2014 toy hauler.

mjudkins, the posts I see that are referring to the F-350 dually squat seems to be the '11 thru '16 model Fords. The '17 and up Super Dutys sit much higher in the rear end. You should be fine. I had to completely reconfigure my WDH that was on my '12 F-250 when I bought my '17 F-250 because if the increased height in the rear.

That's good news! The rear end does seem to sit up pretty high on it, and I was curious at how it could still squat with almost 8k of payload capacity and such a difference in front and rear height. Kinda sucks that none of the advanced towing features I have on it will not work on a 5th wheel though...

Mine has the 4.10 gears. It gets horrible fuel mileage though. The truck had 5 miles on it when I picked it up Saturday, and now has a little over 800 miles now and is averaging 13.4mpg... My GMC 3500 SRW averaged almost 20 not towing. Hopefully it's just a break in period or something, and will improve. Hopefully.. The last Ford I had was a 01 F-250 with a 7.3, and it got 11mpg towing or not.

The adaptive cruise on the 2019 F350 is a nice feature for towing as well.

Yeah the adaptive cruise control is pretty awesome. Though I think my favorite part so far has been the massaging seats. I definitely used that several times on the 12 hour drive back from the dealership.
