Factory installed generator & jay command

I have a 32RLTS on order with the factory installed Onan 5500.

I'm really curious if the generator will be available for AGS (automatic generator start) on the BM Pro panel in the coach.

Reason I'm asking: I searched Youtube for videos on this subject. It seems the ones I have seen produced by BM Pro show an AGS function along with START and STOP on the panel under the POWER section, I think.

Viewing videos showing Jay Command (BM Pro panel, I'm assuming), do NOT show AGS. Just START and STOP.

My concern is this: I'll be leaving the coach in a seasonal campground about 70 miles from my house. It's in a resort area and power outages occur during the summer months. If I'm using the Winegard gateway and would see the incoming power fail, I would like for the generator to kick on (except for configured quiet time) if the power failure was long enough that my house batteries were getting low because of the refrigerator draining them.

Questions via email to Jayco have produced crickets so far.

Does anyone have any info on this based on your coach?

Thank you,

MC

The latest Jaycommand firmware update included AGS. It can be set for temp or battery levels. You should have it on your new rig.

The AGS is nice, but it doesn’t have AC sense, so it is not aware if you have lost shore power. With the battery monitoring this should be fine though.

I have a '21 Pinnacle. How do I go about updating the firmware on the Jay command panel?
