Fender Skirt Question!

Hello Everyone!
I have a 2007 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel and recently on a trip I had a blow out on the back right tire. Needless to say, the tread went everywhere and took out my fender skirt. This is the side that is solid with no slides on it so it was a one piece fender.

I found one from a Canadian company called ICON Technologies, and ordered it. It was the wrong size and now they want me to pay a 20% restocking fee. After I pay the freight back etc.

Has anyone ever dealt with ICON Technologies?

Also, The local dealer wants $149.00 plus installation ($50.00) and that will be when Jayco sends the part to them.

Any advice would beld be appreciated.

I had to replace one a while back. got from Jayco (dont know cost), replacing is a ten minute job with a screwdriver, would not pay 50 dollars.

Why not get it thru Jayco, using the Vin # there should be no error.

The return fee seems reasonable if it was your error

I had a blow-out on my 5'er which broke the skirt as well. When I get ready to replace it I'm getting mine off Amazon.com. Already researched and found that it is the cheapest way to go. Like said above, 10 minutes with a screwdriver and a little sealant sure will save $50. JMHO.
Jimkuy, this restocking fee is a new way for business to make more money, been there, went through it. Maybe you can cut your losses and resell the wrong one as they are always the first thing to take a hit when one has a blow-out. Good luck with your decision and I feel your frustration with those awful restocking fees!

My 23.5rbs is brand new. Brought it home month ago. The MT sub zero temps caused the skirt to crack. Will replace in a year and a half when with the warranty. My 98 jayco skirts were trashed. Bought aftermarket skirts which looked ok. Skirting on jaycos seem to be pretty low quality from my experience.

I replaced the skirts on my 1993 Jayco Eagle 215SD about four or so years ago. Went to after market place, but can't remember it. The site was easy to use and I got the right skirts the first time around. You don't have to go to Jayco, just google, whatever, up fifth-wheel fender skirts and you'll find it easily.
