There still seems to be no discernible pattern that I can tell of which trailer will crack (and when) and which won’t. Maybe just luck of the draw

I can’t find a pattern either. I saw another 2019 (think it was a Pinnacle) either on here or Facebook. I don’t recall seeing any others.

Sorry to hear about your trouble, and welcome to the club.

Not to be a downer, but don't be surprised if it gets bigger on your next trip out. We made it ~800 miles with no change, but then it suddenly extended by about 4". No idea how big it will be when we finally get to the factory in March.

Is the crack expanding on all years and models?

I have the crack but it's small and hasn't grown since I first noticed it about 15000 miles ago. With the slide closed it's not visible past the edge of the outer frame.

From what i can tell there's no rhyme or reason to who gets the cracks and how big they get. Not positive, but I don't think Eagles have been affected, only North Point and Pinnacle.

I hit some very rough road in the 800 miles before our crack expanded, and don't remember anything significant after that to make it grow.

Mine also cracked around the 4000 mile mark. Was only about 3/4 in when they picked it up to return to Jayco. Don't know if it grew after the return trip to Jayco.

Other brands have the same issue. Likely the common element is a Lippert frame.

If I was a trailer manufacturer I think by now I would have designed a seam or expansion crack in that location to stop all this warranty work that has to be costing someone millions!

I've been reading the comments about the "dreaded crack" and haven't commented because I'm sure it will after I do! My '14 377 does NOT have the crack after almost 3 years of ownership...I'm sure that will change now!!

I originally towed mine with a Ram 2500 with aftermarket airbags and now tow with a dually Ram 3500 with the factory airbags. I've been keeping an eye out for it, but as of our last trip in October I have no crack...Trust me when I say that I know that thus far, I've been incredibly LUCKY!

I say your rationale is flawed because you assume all 377s will crack. I think those of us with the crack are the exception, not the rule. We are the “lucky” ones [emoji23]

Although I am jealous that your trailer hasn’t cracked!
