He speaks the truth, unfortunately I haven't seen a trailer tire that doesn't seperate. They all are made in China so maybe that's why. The g614$ are actually an LT tire but are constructed strong enough to support the loads that a trailer tire can handle. The 614$ are made in America but are very pricey but worth it I'm sure. Notice I used a $ instead of an S on the 614$?

The 614s are the only tire where Goodyear will pay for some of the damage in the event of a blowout.
Just save the carcass.
A friend on another forum got $2k from Goodyear after he had a blowout running the 614s.
They are worth the money.

Since you have a 365bhs there's no one better to ask, do you have any clearance issues with the 235 85 16's? They are close to 1 " taller than the 235 80 16 marathons.
Also,what is your TV?
|
Unless GY has changed their specs, the Marathon ST235/80-R16E and the G614 both have a outside diameter of 30.7". On my Designer they look exactly the same with the same spacing between the tires as the Marathons. I have the T02 wheels also so I was lucky there.

I got some reimbursement from them on Marathons in one instance where I had damage.
They stand behind the tire if it separates to,only problem is they replace them with the same tire.

You're my new best friend! Lol, I have a 2012 f250 bagged and run 50 psi also. Haven't gotten to hit the road yet though other than a short haul to the scales. Have you weighed yours? And what size wheels to you have on your f250?
I took my toolbox and tailgate off of my truck and weighed in at 21000 even. 6140 on my tv rear axle with a full tank of fuel and 1 empty lp bottle

17" 18" or 20" wheels on your 250? I have 17's but they're only rated at 3200lbs each. I'd like to get a set of 20's because they're rated around 3600 lbs each

Give some consideration to the 17.5" upgrade. Lots of threads here regarding this upgrade.

We just purchased the 2012 Eagle Superlite 315RLDS. It was used by Dealer for two vacation trips but never actually sold to a customer
Came on 16 inch rims with GY Marathons
Trailer was built in 2011 so I built in the cost of 5 x Michelin XPS Rib tires with the better half.
Checked with Jayco and the rim manufacturer and was good to go for 80 PSI on the rims
so the original Marathons where LR D 65 PSI max The Michelin's are LR E 80 PSI Max
Yeh the Michelin's are expensive but I am not going to worry about them blowing out. I have had great luck with Michelin tires for years
As a bonus the new Truck came with Michelin LR E tires on it from the factory Running them at 60- 65 PSI as there is less weigh on the total truck than on the trailer axles
Truck and trailer work well together no issues so far

If it has never been registered it should have a 2 year warranty also I would think.

I bought Sailuns S637 from Simple tire .com got them in like 3 days. Awesome tires, tows great, increased my fuel mileage and look good too. I bought 5 for like $800.00 deliverd I think. I have a 40' fifthwheel that weighs in at 14,000 lbs loaded and tie with a 2012 f250 diesel.

You won’t go wrong with Sailun tires. Have them on my North Point too and they’re VERY stout tires.
