First long trip with NP, tips?

So we're leaving Saturday on our first significant trip in our 377 RLBH. I have the usual pre-trip list of items to do/check (i.e. oil change, fuel filters, check all tire PSI, secure items in camper, lock doors, etc) but anything additional recommended preparing for a longer journey?

We are leaving for a long trip Saturday as well. Make sure you have some tools to change a flat (especially if you’re running stock Rainier tires) check your spare too. You may want to have a little water in the fresh tank so you can use the bathroom if needed. Also be aware that the refrigerator on inverter power uses more battery power than your truck can keep up with. So if you plan to drive more than say 6 hours, you’ll need to plug into shore power as soon as you get to the CG. Otherwise your jacks and slides won’t want to extend.
Good luck on your trip!

I agree with the extra tools, fuses, etc.
Although it hasn't been a problem for me, I have heard others complain that finding a gas station that has plenty of over-head (high enough) room may be an issue. You may want to scout out where you'll be stopping for gas to make sure you can fit under the pump stations?
I also like to bring an extra (bigger) cooler for food & drinks for the longer trips
Happy Trails!

What Tom said. Only thing I might add is put a bungee on the shower door to make sure it stays closed! We secured ours with the latch and it still got loose and shattered. Now we always put a small bungee on it. I also put one on the residential fridge for extra piece of mind.

Thanks Tom, glad I added a second battery to help provide power longer.

My tires are the Goodyear endurance, hopefully better than rainiers?
