I would second what Jim said. If you camp in hot areas they are a must and if you loose one AC you at least can stay cool till you can get it repaired. The extra AC in the bedroom is a real nice perk. Good hunting and God Bless!

It has been a good truck for me. It is from the time when there were a lot lot less gadgets to control the engines and no DEF. There is less to go wrong. They definitely do not have the power and torque of the new 6.7 when stock. I have friends who have 7.3's that were "chiped up" and it really increases the the power. Mine is stock and always has been. It has plenty of power to pull my camper and on a 5,600 mile trip out west with 4,400 miles pulling my camper it got 12.3 mpg. I'm happy with it. It has 62,000 miles as of today so it will probably last me the rest of my life.

We were going to buy the Eagle 330RSTS T.T. but decided on the HT 28.5RSTS 5th wheel due to the size considerations. Comparing the two, we found no difference in quality, only in amenities and size. We're very happy with our decision. We have a 2017 F250 6.2liter and it does a great job pulling our new 5th wheel. Good luck whatever you decide and thanks for posting. Bob & Sabra.
