I can't remember where I bought mine but I bet it wasn't $30. It travels with me along with elbows, a few lengths of tubing, some rings. If I don't have what I need I know it's a cheap run to a store for it.

Go get a 1/2 sharkbit 90 and cut the old 90 out and replace with the sharkbit. Just press on at both ends. Good luck in your repairs!!

If you look at any if the pump silencing kits you'll see a loop made of flexible hose. I used a length to solve the odd angle behind my toilet and the pex crimp fitting sealed it fine. If you can't get the flexibility from rigid pex tubing and elbow, try replacing some with the rubber hose.

Are you sure your using Pex for your sprinklers ? Typically it's not Pex… That tool works with the Pex rings not the Pex clamps.. Norty I got mine for $4 less 10% at Lowes when they were closing out all the old brand and changing to Shark Bite branded products..

You can buy these at most places that sell PEX fittings. Easy to make a bend. I have seen them at my local Lowes.

I have been meaning to update this post and admit I was wrong...you were right. It is 1/2 PEX. Just completed adding in a w/d into our unit and this “old” post came back to my memory. ❤️ this forum and all the help!

A wealth of information! Your ideas have given me the confidence to go back in after that slow leak which I just learned is most likely that PEX elbow with a hairline crack attached to my water-filter. That thing dogged me the whole way home from my Thanksgiving run, from Virginia Beach to the Georgia mountains. Looking behind that water inlet panel on 2016 my North Point, I saw a rats nest of PEX hoses and fittings and thought I'm gonna be a much busier RV tech in the coming years. Next task, I am mounting that water filter on the other side of the water panel where Jayco mounted the soap dispenser - easier access going forward.

I replaced the water filter one time. When it was time to replace it again, I took it out and screwed the housing back on. No more of that. It easier and less of a headache for me to buy the blue filter and screw it to the spigot and the hose pipe. I've got a union and a couple clamps to bypass the water filter housing. So far the urge to climb in there and do it has not happened.

This is what I have. Also bought some extra connectors and fittings. There are a couple of styles of PEX connectors so be aware of that. With the tool repairs are easy and cheap. Noticed it never fails at home only on the road . https://www.amazon.com/Jinwen-120017...ag=googhydr-20
