Gotta have the flag flying!
We use a Flag Pole Buddy too. Used it for last 2 years mounted on the ladder and just love it. No problems. Easy to put out the flag and pole, easy to store the collapsible pole. 16 foot pole shows well above TT.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

I like this setup. How long are your flag poles?

Thanks,

Almost embarrassed to show this, but I will anyway. In haste to have a flag displayed in the campground on July 4 2008, I had an old CB radio antenna base in the truck. The mast was too flimsy so we borrowed the AM/FM antenna off the truck and put a small USA flag on it. Been meaning to replace it every year since then and probably will this year. Some call it southern ingenuity, or worse....maybe it is....have had a few compliments on it, or maybe they were just checking me out.

I know its not the biggest display but I bought one of the suction cup mounted multi flag holders at CW & use it to fly several of the smaller garden size (USA) flags. Sometimes I'll mix in a few other historical patriotic flags. It stays well on the side of the camper and the awning light keep the flags illuminated at night.

I only fly the US flag when visiting in your country. I just wish you guys would show the same respect when visiting here

I just brought 1" PVC pipe and made it so it fits across the A Frame of my hitch, then in the middle, I ran another PVC pipe straight up to clear the propane tanks, then put on a 45 degree angle of PVC pipe about 1 foot long to put the flag in. Works great and easily comes apart for storage. The T just above the propane tanks is where we hang out family name plate.

My father was a combat U.S. Marine 1st Division, 5th Marines served in Korea in 52-53. (He served in the same battles with Sgt. Reckless. (Look up Sgt. Reckless, USMC) He taught me respect for out flag and country. I have also passed it on to my children. When our flag comes down off our flag pole at home, it gets folded properly too.
