FlexArmor Roof looking for feed back

I've been considering the FlexArmor roof system. If you have had it done can you give me some opinions (good or bad), everything I've read indicates it's the way to go. BUT the price I was quoted for my size 5th wheel is definitely hefty. Thanks in advance.

I believe Ed had his roof done. Do a search and see if you can find his thread. I’m at work and can’t right now...otherwise I’d have posted the link...sorry.

Yes, Ed done his roof and was completely satisfied. Did hear from many others who where very satisfied. When mine is due that's the way I want to go. Maybe by that time it is around a lot longer, but the company have already proven themselves.

Yep, I had RV Flex Armor installed 2 1/2 years ago. Would I do it again - you bet, but I wouldn't wait 5 years after purchase to do it. I would do it on day one of ownership. No more concerns about the rubber material (which failed on mine) or all of the caulking up there.

Search my posts from January 2016 and feel free to let me know if you want more info.

Ed, thanks for responding. I'll search for your thread on it.
Which location did you use, I got an online quote from an RV dealer in my area (Houston) that does it. Problem is they have a bad reputation for their work in general.

I'm still under warranty but does anyone know if the Armorflex will void the warranty?

I’ve had very good luck with the XTRM Ply PVC roof. I heard it now comes with a 15 year membrane warranty. I have an Open Range unit...No chalking, stronger than the TPO stuff, looks great.

It will void the rubber roof warranty, but who cares? The rubber roof warranty is worthless anyway and you would then have a new RV Flex Armor roof with their warranty.

When my rubber roof membrane started failing at 5 years service the roof membrane manufacturer offered me $225.00 total compensation. Such a deal for a 12 year warranty.

I'm currently getting a FlexArmor roof put on mine at North Trail RV in Fort Myers. It's an insurance job at $10,441.45

I got into some tree limbs is how insurance got involved. I was over today and looked at it after they got the old roof off. My patch job with eternabond had done its job as there was nothing that even looked like it had been wet. I will let you know how things go rkelly.

I picked up my camper from North Trail today. The new roof looks good and my dealings with them were great. I dealt with Frank Kulikowski who is a damage appraiser with them. Frank keep me updated with emails and pictures as to what was going on almost on a daily basis.

We had ours done two years ago on our old fifth wheel in Green Cove Springs, Florida. I am a avid believer in the product. It is tough as nails. It only took them two days to complete. Unfortunately we sold it a year later and got a brand new fifth wheel. Now contemplating when to pull the proverbial trigger on this one!
