They are a pain in most cases. The fixture itself is held in place by a couple of springs. In stubborn cases you can pry the whole fixture out all or part way out of the ceiling to get a better grip on the edge of the frosted lens. Use something flat to get between the white fixture flange and the ceiling and pry the fixture out. A warning: the springs are very stiff and if you go past the ceiling with the springs they will snap toward the lens and can chip the lens or possibly break it (don't ask me how I know this).
This is the type that our 2013 Pinnacle has. I don't know if later models are the same or similar.
I replaced all of our halogen bulbs with LED's and have been very pleased with the results. Lots better light. Ordered the LED bulbs from
M4 Products. Good prices and all have proven to be reliable.
