Flush or fresh....switched????

Hi, went on my 1st dry camping trip and encountered a strange situation.

Fresh or flush:
I went to fill my freshwater tank and turned a blue valve to tank fill. Turns out, I filled my black tank with water. I attached the fresh water to the flush port and filled my fresh water tank. Sounds like the hoses at the water station are backwards. Does anybody agree?

I tried this procedure a couple of times to verify my theory but wondered if anybody had the same issue.

Water pump:
In a related story, my water pump was not pressurizing fresh water. It was only pumping air into the water lines.

What 5ver do you have?

On a 5ver, I suspect the issue will be at the city water connection. There is a hose washer with a screen. If that screen is aimed inwards, it will push on the check valve, and allow air/water to be drawn in. Flip the screen washer so the screen is outwards. Keep this screen washer, it is very important when you country fill the tank or winterize.

I assume you connected the city water to the right side connector and with the blue knob down you get fresh water to the TT and with the knob to the left the black tank fills. If that’s correct the it does seem that the fill/black lines are reversed.
Warranty?

Dont think have a warranty option here. It's a 2015. It should be an easy fix tho. I have a pex clamp and tools. I will keep you posted.
