frame flex on the front of the 5th wheel

Hi Guys, I have recently noticed on my 2011 superlight 31.5 fbhs that the frame must be flexing/bending when hooked up to the truck and all the weight on the pin. The bottom corner molding on the right and left side of the camper that goes over the bed is seperating. When I disconnect from the truck and it's on the legs, it goes back to normal.



Anyone else see this sort of thing? The seperation is probably 1/16 to 1/8 wide or so.

From reading threads on other forums describing same condition, you probably have a failure of a weld or cracked metal brace under the front cap.

Not what I wanted hear...lol. I guess I will need to have a look under there to see if I notice anything. Thx

Or you just need to secure your trim. The factory likes to use too short and too small of a screw to secure the trim. Had that issue on two of my 5th wheels. Both fixed under warranty. Tech said it's common.
So I'd get some longer larger screws and secure it and see what happens.
