Fresh water tank

I have a 2020 Jayco 5th wheel . When I fill the fresh water tank and go down the road about 2/3 of the tank siphons out every time . My question is , how can I fix this ? Anyone else have the same problem ?

Many have, including me. It's caused by the water sloshing in very shallow tanks. I added 1/4 turn plastic valves to the overflow drain tubes on our TT. (Twin tanks)

Some put a stopper or cork in it or pinch it off with a clamp. You just have to remember to open it before filling, close it after filling, and re-open it before running the pump.

Common problem on a variety of RVs, both towed and motorized. Some install valves in the overflow lines but one must be very diligent and open the valves when filling or using the tank lest it implode or explode. Sometimes raising the hoses up higher than the tank can help if there is room.

On my Seneca I built an "air gap" out of PVC pipe. No valves to create an issue. It also is where I return water to my fresh tank from my hot water recirculation system. No more water loss while traveling now!
