Fridge not starting

I've a new 27.5RLTS with a Dometic fridge. Filled propane tanks. Opened both fully counterclockwise, set the connecting valve horizontal towards the right tank. Check light keeps coming on when i repress on/off. What am I missing?
Thanks.

Step 1. Have you purged all the air from the lines by lighting the stove for a few moments and running the water heater similarly? Sometimes it can take a bit to get the air out.

You are trying to run the fridge on propane, correct?

Two things about propane systems that trips up many of us:
- There may be air in the propane lines. Try lighting the stove. Once a burner lights, then you should have propane at the fridge.
- You MUST open the propane tank valves SLOWLY! If you open the valves too fast, there is a safety device that trips and slows the propane flow.

Fridge isn’t working.

Is your camper level?

The camper is level, running on propane and after and after futzing with the stove/letting the air pass i am hearing the familiar hum from the fridge. No doubt I opened the valves quick, I will slow down. thank you.
