Wow, that's a great price. I am with palle on the location. Blessings to you and congratulations.

The proximity to the factory influences the price a little, but delivery doesn't cost 10,000 dollars. Many dealers are just asking way to much and the sad part is they get it. It depends what your money is worth to you. If you ask your dealer about it, they simply wont have a leg to stand on. At least email Indiana RV connevtion for a quote. There is no obligation and it will give you great negotiating power. Never lose your "no power" when trying to get the best deal.

I'm in Canada, and if you factor in the exchange rate last May, I got basically the same deal as JandJ did from my dealer 1 minute down the road from me.
Location has nothing to do with it.

Doing homework before you sign has everything to do with it.

In light of this, I am going to find out what our dealer is charging for the delivery from Indiana. Might be worth it to make the 15 hour drive and pick it up myself. Definitely not on my top 10 want to do list, but if they are charging as much as some of you are saying for delivery, might be worth it with fuel prices where they are.

It's possible that RV Express has contacts for delivery and can arrange for it, or give you the number of someone.

When I bought from RV Nation in Ohio, 2008, they delivered it to Detroit and met me there for $350.
Getting your rig delivered half way would make your drive easier, but not give you any real PDI walk through.
