Front cap hot in sun cold in cool temps

Just had a look behind front closet in our 2017 Eagle 321rsts
The insulation doesn't make it to bottom of cap by more than a foot and doesn't cover the sides. It was showing light thru a crack in rhe finished trim. Knew something was up. Its filled up now. That should help with the cooling and heat up in the 5th.

Its a light tan or beige
Dark color would be way worse!
